sorry for this boring picture, it`s just the street next to my apartement.. i took it a few minutes ago. ( i like the dazzling lights.)

I don't know how to begin my first blog entry from Tokyo. I can't even take pictures yet 'cause i don't know where to start, so how to start writing about TOKYO?! I guess to much impressions right now...

Bla.bla..bla... here is a list of things i did: (not really chronological)
moving into my apartement -- discovering green tea cake -- meeting Alice and Ethan from Crystal Castels on the street -- talking with them about green tea cake -- next day Crystal Castel gig -- working for IHI (every day) -- getting invited to do a fashion-show! (walk the runway) -- meeting shy, nice, mean, awesome, cool people (from South America, Australia, Hawaii, USA, China and Japan, so far) -- going to Vanity party -- discovering all kinds of food -- discovering japanese music -- becoming dazzled by flashing lights of tokyo -- riding my brand new bicycle through the streets of tokyo -- falling asleep at the subway -- trying to sleep at my apartement.

I just started visiting some of the locations from "Lost In Translations" (thanks to the lost-in-translation-map i got) oh and i'm going to see Justice and Vitalic live saturday night , maybe i take pictures this time.

I'm not able to blog about new bands or doing album reviews until i'm back in Germany so my blogging is going to look like this. And i don't give a shit if it scares away all the visitors... but please come back in 2 months or enjoy my stupid tokyo talk! :)

Das is so gruselig, erst habe ich etwas auf einem coolen oldschool Hometrainer "trainiert", den ich eben erst gefunden hatte. Und dann bin ich morgens mit diesem Apfel im Bett aufgewacht. Und Nein! ich war nicht betrunken. Nur ganz wenig.

Das is alles so schräg. Egal, weil es gibt auch interessante Neuigkeiten. Ich habe eben das neue Peter Björn & John Album Seaside Rock bekommen und ich kann mich noch an meinen lieblings Sommersong 2006 von Peter Björn & John erinnern (den könnt ihr hier nochmal downloaden [MP3] ). Und das ist jetzt schon fast wieder gruselig, weil Seaside Rock klingt ganz ganz anders, als man das von den Schweden, Peter Björn & John gedacht hätte:

There is this new Times New Viking Song "Call & Respond" und ich musste daran denken, wie toll die live waren. Die Band klingt a-little-too-sweet-to-be-punk und a-little-too-tough-to-be-pop. Unerklärlich sommerlich fand ich Keyboarderin und Sängerin Beth Murphy. Is mir echt nicht leicht gefallen mich nicht total in sie zu verknallen. Hat auch nicht funktioniert. Sehr lärmig und berauschendes Erlebnis, das Konzert.

Seit fünf langen Tagen schaffe ich es nicht davon los zu kommen. Of Montreal's Skeletal Lamping verkorkst mich total. It "really poisined my sexuality". Der ganze Sex Talk auf der Platte, die ganzen flauschigen, süßen Melodien und dann wieder dieser verwackelte elektro-sound. Ich wünschte ich würde das Album hassen, instead it wants to "make you come 200 times a day".

Das Album is so einfallsreich und skurril, das ich ne weile gebraucht hab um da irgendwie zugang zu finden und wenn du dann grade denkst "I'm so sick of sucking the dick of this cruel cruel city" und das Album grade beiseite werfen willst, klebt es an deinen Fingern und du wirst es nicht mehr los. So gings zumindest mir und nun wird Skeletal Lamping wahrscheinlich mein Lieblingsalbum 2008.

Eins noch: Trotz dem ganzen "ejaculate until it's no longer fun" steckt das Album voller überwältigender Emotionen.

Das sind 3 Szenen , die ich mal schnell zusammen geschnitten hab (dauert 6 minuten). Der Dialog im Film ist so lebendig das man meinen könnte es wäre spontan gespielt, anstatt gescripted und ..man ich fühl mich grad nich danach mehr dazu zu sagen, deshalb lass ich's. Du willst wissen wie der Film heißt? Nö, keine Lust!

Ich verspreche das ich im nächsten Blog netter bin und auch mal wieder was zum Thema Musik sag, wirklich ich versprechs, ehrlich.

An diesen Tagen an denen es dauerregnet kann man auch rausgehen und Spaß haben, nein das is gelogen. Das is nämlich ganz beschissen draußen. Und jetzt? Mir is langweilig.

Das einzig spannende heute ist der neue Fanz Ferdinand Song "Lucid Dreams". Ich weiß noch nicht, wie ich den Song finden soll. Die Message des Songs ist das es nicht wirklich Nationen gibt, außer in unseren Träumen. Und es ist auch eine Art love song. Klingt gut, klingt nach Franz Ferdinand, aber irgendwie hab ich was spannenderes, außergewöhnliches erwartet. Vielleicht liegt es auch nur daran, dass mir gerade soo ungewöhnlich langweilig ist das es schon etwas seehr außergewöhnliches braucht, damit es mir besser geht.
